Artificial Life, Emergence, and Computational Form
These artworks develop through artificial-life simulations inspired by nature.
Each is presented through a selected still encounter and a recording of its development, accompanied by an interpretation, a documented process and source code for reproduction.

About the series
Life, taking form.
Intelligence in Nature celebrates the intricate forms that arise through living processes. Across these four works, local interactions become branching networks, cellular masses, inhabited landscapes and folded surfaces.
Each work begins with an artificial-life simulation inspired by nature. A separate rendering process gives the developing structure its colour, texture and material presence. The encounters preserve selected moments; the recordings reveal their formation.
Each work is accompanied by an interpretation, an explanation of its process, and source code with instructions for reproduction.
